Ndima Richard Ndzombane

Richard is a 25 year old most charismatic performer (lyric tenor).

He studied Vocal Arts at the Tshwane University of Technology under the vocal guidance of Mr Eric Muller.

During his years of study he was part of various productions amongst which a student production the Mozart’s Reports.

He was part of a selected group of students of the Vocal Art department to go to Victoria West for an enhanced performance of the Mozart’s Reports.

In 2007, he was part of the Opera Africa’s Princess Magogo cast which toured to Oslo, Norway.

Opera Africa also gave him the opportunity to perform with well-known performers in their productions of Rigoletto by Verdi, I Montecchi e I Capuletti by Bellini and Aida by Verdi directed by Laurence Dale.

He had his debut lead role as Nanki-poo, in the Mikado Miniature production under the supervision of the award-winning director Mr Themi Venturas, produced by Lionheart productions in collaboration with the Casta Diva boutique hotel.

This production was also performed in the Durban Catalina Theatre.

He is deeply involved in various classical music projects within his community. This includes coaching the school choirs in their preparation for choir competitions and the guidance of young artists to become professional performers.

Richard is not a stranger at Casta Diva boutique hotel, as he is one of the most requested artist to perform.

As a solo artist he sings and plays the piano to entertain the guests on request. Recently he found his performing partner in Dorrianne Mahlangu.
